The Lodge room at Alderson House

The  Lodge of Instruction ( LOI ) is an additional teaching class where Members are invited to attend practice meetings in a more informal manner than our regular Lodge meetings.

These evenings are under the supervision of two experienced teachers or 'Preceptors' .Meetings take no more than 90 minutes and are followed by an even more informal drink in the bar afterwards.

The Lodge of Instruction allows Junior members to practice Lodge work and thus gain experience and confidence.

The Lodge of Instruction usually reaches its climax each September, when Brethren put on a demonstration of a formal Lodge meeting.

After this meeting there is a dinner known as the Festival Supper, again observing all the customs and practices of the Lodge, and including a Charity collection.

The evening is always a happy and relaxed event, drawing Masonic visitors from many parts - all are welcome.

This event is traditionally the first meeting of the Lodge following the summer recess. It is a prelude to the main Lodge season which resumes in October each year .

Meetings and Dining at Alderson House

We traditionally wear evening dress and white gloves  for our Lodge Meetings, which are followed by a meal
known  as the Festive Board.

All Masonic visitors are most welcome - we regularly  welcome brethren from all over Britain. We  also welcome brethren from other parts of  the World.

Please advise your host, or contact the Lodge Secretary,  if  you wish to visit
the Lodge of Warwick.

The Secretary of the Lodge will email summonses  to you
as PDF or Word files on request.

Vegetarian or special diet meal requests should be made to the Senior Steward in the week before each meeting.  Contact details are given on every Summons  - please advise him in plenty of time !

The Lodge is in recess during the summer,
with the next meeting being in October 2012
