 | | Charity is at the very heart of Freemasonry and one of the Great Principles of the Order. Masons practice charitable giving along with voluntary efforts not only for their own, but also for the community as a whole.
From its earliest days , Freemasonry has been concerned with the care of orphans, the sick and the aged. |
 | | This work continues today and large sums of money are raised from within Freemasonry for National and Local Charities .
The four main national Masonic Charities are featured left ; click on each logo to take you to their individual websites |
 | | In 2001 the Provincial Grand Master of Warwickshire was pleased to announce the culmination of his seven year festival . The total collected in aid of the Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys amounted to £ 3.2 million pounds ! . |
| | |
 | | This tremendous sum was amongst many other funds passed to both Masonic and non-Masonic charities that year.
Charitable work continues every month and is exercised at every level ; individual Lodges make gifts and give aid to their local communities.
Every Province also gives large sums of money to regional causes and nationally, our efforts are channelled through four main Charitable organisations.
